How long will it take to complete a vehicle service?

We try to complete most scheduled services and repairs the same day. If this is not possible, we will provide you with special transportation arrangements.

How much does a vehicle service cost?

As all vehicle are different and require different service schedules it’s best to give us a call at AutoMech will your rego number. One of our friendly staff will then be able to give you an estimate of how much it will cost.

Is there a charge to check out my car?

Yes, there is normally a small charge for our professional mechanics in Warrnambool to complete the required checks. This will allow us to correctly quote the required repairs, so you don’t get any costly surprise

Do I need an appointment for a repair?

Yes, gives us a call and have a chat with one of our friendly staff. We will work out a times that best suits. If it’s a small job like a globe or an oil check we will normally get you to come in the same day.

What payment options do you accept?

We accept cash, efpos & EFT.

We also offer GOPAY which allows you to spread the bill over 3 payment

Why does my car need maintenance if it's running fine?

Yes, preventive maintenance is better then been stuck on the side of the road. During servicing we will inspect all aspects of the vehicle brakes, suspension, steering, engine, driveline, cooling, fuel, lights and electrical systems

What will happen if I don't have the repairs done right now?

We understand that sometimes all the repairs can’t be done straight away. We can advise you of the repairs required and their priority.

What should I do when my check engine light come on?

When the engine light comes on it your vehicle computer saying that it has detected an issue that requires attention. Best bet is to give us a call at AutoMech and we can arrange a time to plug our diagnostic scan tool in.

How often should I have my brakes checked?

Brakes are normal checked every time your vehicle is serviced. We will advise you if they will not last to the next service and will recommend replacing them.

When does my oil filter need replacing?

Every car is different. At a minimum we recommend replacing the engine oil and filter very 10,000km or 12 months which every occurs first.
